Which exam is this ISC2 CCSP Certified Cloud Security Professional guide for?
The ISC2 Certified Cloud Security Professional exam, to the CCSP Exam Outline effective 1 August 2026.
How are the six CCSP domains weighted?
Cloud Concepts, Architecture and Design 17%, Cloud Data Security 20%, Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Security 17%, Cloud Application Security 16%, Cloud Security Operations 17%, Legal, Risk and Compliance 13%. No domain is above 20% or below 13%, so there is no big domain to bank on. ISC2 publishes no per-domain item count, and neither does this book.
Is the CCSP certification pass mark 70%?
No. ISC2 scores out of 1000 and 700 passes, but it does not publish how raw scores convert, so there is no percentage pass mark and this book never gives you one.
What are the advanced item types?
ISC2 uses them alongside four-option multiple choice and does not fully specify them. Expect at least one question that looks unlike the rest, and do not let it take time you need elsewhere.
Does this CCSP exam prep cover AI and machine learning?
Yes. The August 2026 outline lists AI and machine learning in 1.6 and AI and ML data protection in 2.9. Chapter 2 covers SOAR, data source validation and ethical concerns. Chapter 4 covers data set and model privacy and security.
Does it cover cloud contracts and audit reports?
Yes. Chapter 11 covers eDiscovery, cloud forensics, privacy law and the types of audit report. Chapter 12 covers data roles, risk treatment, and vendor and contract management.
How do I know this CCSP exam guide is current?
It covers the outline effective 1 August 2026, checked against ISC2's published copy on 25 August 2026. If ISC2 shows a different outline, this edition is out of date.
Are there real exam questions in it?
No. Every question was written for this book from the published outline. A book or dump promising real items is either lying or breaching ISC2's terms, and using it can cost you the credential.
How is this different from CCSP Practice Questions?
This book teaches the six domains. The companion gives you four-option practice questions, split by the same domain weights, with a rationale for every answer.

How long is it?

Who is it for?
Anyone preparing for the examination it covers, and the trainers and librarians supporting them. It assumes you are a working professional paying for the exam yourself and studying in the evenings.
What is it written from?
ISC2's own published blueprint, and the primary text of the law, standard or framework the exam tests. Not from a summary, not from another preparation book, and not from a model's memory. Each source is listed at the back with the date it was checked.
How is it weighted?
By the exam board's own published blueprint. A domain that carries more of the exam gets more of the book, so you can see where the marks are before deciding where your evenings go.
Will it tell me the pass rate?
No. ISC2 does not publish one for this exam, and this book states nothing it cannot trace.
Is it a substitute for the standard or the law?
No. Where the exam tests a paid standard, you will need your own licensed copy, and the book says so rather than pretending otherwise. Where the law is public, the book teaches from its own text and cites it.
Is Credential Press independent of ISC2?
