Which ISC2 CCSP exam is this for?
The ISC2 Certified Cloud Security Professional exam, known as CCSP.
Is this CCSP practice test 2026 edition on the current outline?
It covers the CCSP 2026 outline, effective 1 August 2026, checked against ISC2's published copy on 30 August 2026. ISC2 revises its outlines and the weights change with them, so if ISC2 shows a newer one, this edition is out of date.
How are the questions split across the domains?
Cloud Concepts, Architecture and Design (17%) 34, Cloud Data Security (20%) 47, Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Security (17%) 34, Cloud Application Security (16%) 32, Cloud Security Operations (17%) 38, Legal, Risk and Compliance (13%) 26. The percentages are ISC2's and the counts are this book's.
What is the CCSP pass mark as a percentage?
There is none. ISC2 scales the exam to 1000 and 700 passes, and no question or rationale in this book gives you a percentage pass mark.
Will my CCSP exam prep match the real domain counts?
Not item for item. ISC2 publishes a percentage per domain and no item count, and your paper can run 100 to 150 items.
Do these CCSP practice exams include advanced item types?
No. All 211 are four-option multiple choice. ISC2 uses advanced item types alongside multiple choice and does not fully specify them, so expect at least one question that looks unlike these.
What pace should I practice at?
The paper runs 180 minutes. At 150 items that is 72 seconds a question, and 108 at 100. ISC2 does not publish which length you will get, so time yourself at 72.
Is anything here taken from the live exam?
No. Every question was written for this book, then checked a second time by a different reader. A book that reprints real items is either lying or breaching ISC2's terms, and using one can cost you the credential.
How should I work the set?
Work a whole section without looking at the answers and mark it. Then read every rationale, including the ones you got right.
Should I guess by letter?
No. The keys across A, B, C and D follow no pattern you can use.
Is there a quick review before exam day?
Yes. The set closes with In one page: 14 distinctions it turned on, such as community versus public cloud. Cover the right-hand side and work down.
Which CCSP book comes first?

Who is it for?
Anyone preparing for the examination it covers, and the trainers and librarians supporting them. It assumes you are a working professional paying for the exam yourself and studying in the evenings.
What is it written from?
ISC2's own published blueprint, and the primary text of the law, standard or framework the exam tests. Not from a summary, not from another preparation book, and not from a model's memory. Each source is listed at the back with the date it was checked.
How is it weighted?
By the exam board's own published blueprint. A domain that carries more of the exam gets more of the book, so you can see where the marks are before deciding where your evenings go.
Will it tell me the pass rate?
No. ISC2 does not publish one for this exam, and this book states nothing it cannot trace.
Is it a substitute for the standard or the law?
No. Where the exam tests a paid standard, you will need your own licensed copy, and the book says so rather than pretending otherwise. Where the law is public, the book teaches from its own text and cites it.
Is Credential Press independent of ISC2?
